Gary Barber
Hi, I’m Gary Barber and I’m one of the owners of Calais LeisureScapes. Before we moved to Nanaimo, I worked as a steel fabricator for CN Railway. I always wanted to be my own boss, so in 1994 when the opportunity presented itself, we moved to Nanaimo to raise our kids and open the business. My personal and professional background provided me with a lot of mechanical knowledge so my progression into the pool and spa industry was an excellent fit.

A graduate of Vancouver Island University, Darian has been with us since 2017. Darian can typically be seen running water tests, helping customers navigate the store or the supplier catalogs to find what they need.

Cathe is a dedicated manager that works out of the new Courtenay location. She is your go to person for all of your hot tub, pool, and billiard needs in the Comox region. She has been a part of the Coast family for quite some time before joining Calais LeisureScapes. We are happy to have Cathe as one of team members.
